Flagship · overview

SPU Sport Court — branded “Green Grass” — is our flagship court product. It’s a water-based, single-component polyurethane laid as primer, buffer coat, top coat and marking lines, typically 3–5mm on concrete or asphalt. The result is a cushioned, seamless surface that plays consistently and is easy on players’ joints. Low odour makes it as suited to indoor sports halls as to outdoor courts and MUGAs.

SPU Classical & Unite-Tech

The long-standing core product and default all-round court surface. It uses interpenetrating-network technology and a reversible crystalline structure; the waterborne top layer delivers impact, heavy-load, abrasion and weather resistance. The other two grades are variations on this build rather than different products — unless something about your site points elsewhere, this is the one we quote.

Choose it when: You want one dependable all-round court and have no particular cushioning or appearance requirement.
What's different: Nothing is dialled up or restyled — it's the baseline the other two are measured against.

SPU Shock-absorbing

The same product with the cushioning dialled up, for settings where impact protection and player comfort come first. It's the grade that suits a court doing a full day of mixed-ability use — schools, junior sport and multi-use halls where the timetable never really stops.

Choose it when: The same court takes every age group all day, or junior sport and PE are the main use.
Trade-off: More give underfoot means a softer response than a competition player used to a firm, fast court may want.

SPU Maple

A maple-woodgrain finish that mimics an indoor sports-hall timber floor — the look of a traditional timber court with the performance and low maintenance of a PU product. Underneath it's the same SPU build; what changes is the appearance.

Choose it when: An indoor hall wants the look of a timber floor without timber's upkeep.
What's different: Appearance only — the maple finish sits over the same product.

The essentials

What we can tell you up front. Anything that depends on your site — base, groundworks, programme — is settled at survey.

We supply JRace products, which carry World Athletics and ITF certification. Whether a given install is certified depends on the base and build, which the team confirms per site.
