Overview

Local authorities

Council work runs on two tracks at once: the surface itself, and the paperwork that gets it approved. We're used to both. On the specification side, public spaces take unsupervised, all-hours use in all weathers, so durability and a surface that's usable straight after rain matter more than peak competition performance. On the procurement side, we can supply the product specification and supporting compliance documentation a tender or framework submission calls for, and we price every project individually after a survey — there's no list price to quote against, because base condition, drainage and groundworks move the number far more than the surface does.

What matters here

What buyers in this sector ask us first.

Every site is different, but the same handful of questions come up each time. Here's how we approach them.

01

Tender and framework support

We're experienced with public procurement and can provide the product specification and supporting compliance documentation your submission needs, alongside indicative costings once the site has been reviewed.

02

Built for unsupervised public use

Park and estate facilities take heavy, unbooked use in all weathers. The products we supply are all-weather and usable straight after rain, with good resistance to ageing and colour loss.

03

Recreation as well as sport

Not every scheme is a competition facility. Cushioned resin jogging loops suit parks, estates and fitness trails, and the Repus acrylic coating is a budget-conscious court finish where full cushioned PU isn't needed.

04

Priced per site, not per catalogue

Base condition, area, drainage and groundworks drive the cost. We survey the site, recommend the product and come back with indicative options rather than quoting a rate that won't survive contact with the ground.

Usually the right fit

Products we most often specify here

A starting point, not a rule — the right product depends on the sport, the setting and the base you already have.
