Developers, main contractors & specifiers

Get the surface specified right before the base goes down.

Sports surfacing for new-build schemes, residential developments and larger construction programmes — with the specification agreed early, so the sub-base you pour is the one the finished surface actually needs.

Overview

Developers & contractors

On a construction programme the sports surface is usually one of the last things laid and one of the first things specified — and the gap between those two moments is where problems start. Falls, drainage and sub-base construction all get fixed long before anyone opens a tin of polyurethane, and getting them wrong is expensive to unpick. Bringing us in at specification stage means the base you build is the base the finished product needs. We supply the surfacing and coordinate installation through vetted specialist partners, so the sports element arrives as one package with one point of contact rather than another subcontractor for you to find and manage.

What matters here

What buyers in this sector ask us first.

Every site is different, but the same handful of questions come up each time. Here's how we approach them.

01

Specified early, laid late

Sub-base construction, falls and drainage are set long before the surface goes down. Agreeing the product at design stage means the groundworks you've already programmed suit the finished build.

02

One package, one point of contact

We supply the surface and arrange installation through specialist partners we've vetted — the sports element comes as a single coordinated package rather than a separate trade for you to source.

03

Poured or prefabricated

Programme pressure often decides this one. Factory-made rolls install quickly and perform consistently; a cast-in-place product is seamless. We'll talk through which suits your sequence and site.

04

Component materials

EPDM and TPE granules are supplied as component materials — used in PU tracks, sports flooring, playgrounds, sidewalks, fitness paths and rubber mats and rolls.

Usually the right fit

Products we most often specify here

A starting point, not a rule — the right product depends on the sport, the setting and the base you already have.
