Overview

The Synthetic Running Track is laid on site as a seamless, cast-in-place surface — no joints to lift or fail. It is engineered around human motion mechanics and carries World Athletics (IAAF) certification, so it scales from school and club tracks up to competition-standard installations. The three grades below are a genuine buyer-facing choice; the team will help you match one to your standard and budget.

The range

3 options within Synthetic Running Track.

SP Track

A spray-coat (tartan) track and typically the entry/mid tier — the wear layer is sprayed on rather than poured to full depth. All-weather and usable straight after rain, with strong resistance to ageing and yellowing, good colour retention, and easy cleaning and maintenance. It's where most school and club budgets land when the money has to cover a full circuit.

Choose it when: School and club tracks, training and PE use, or a budget that has to stretch around the whole circuit.
Construction: Spray-coat (tartan) — a sprayed textured wear layer.

SW Track

The sandwich (multi-layer) poured product, sitting between the spray-coat and full-pour grades — the middle option for when SP isn't quite enough and FP is more than the programme needs.

Choose it when: A club or county-standard facility wants more than an entry track without full-pour cost.
Construction: Sandwich — poured layers built up in sequence. Exact construction and positioning are confirmed per project with the manufacturer.

FP Track

The full-pour product and the top of the range — typically the premium, competition-grade option, poured to full depth rather than sprayed or layered.

Choose it when: Competition and championship venues, or anywhere the track has to meet the standard rather than approach it.
Construction: Full-pour. Exact construction and positioning are confirmed per project with the manufacturer.
